Ngala Private Game Reserve offers a choice of extraordinarily beautiful venues for the exchange of your vows:
DRY RIVERBED
Two impressive open wedding venues: one set on the dry riverbed of the seasonal Timbavati River under a huge Sycamore Fig tree, and the other on the Kuduspruit riverbed surrounded by the open African bush. The riverbed provides an aisle for a dramatic bridal entrée. An extraordinary wedding venue, hosted at the most beautiful time of day... sunset.
BUSH SETTING For those who wish to marry close to nature, the open space of the African bush is the ideal setting. This venue is ideal for small or larger weddings. Guests and groom await the bride's arrival at the bush setting. After the ceremony enjoy celebratory sundowners at a venue of your choice, before being transported to the next location for the wedding banquet and celebration.
GARDEN AT NGALA TENTED SAFARI CAMP The lovely garden of this Camp overlooks the swimming pool with the Timbavati riverbed beyond - perfect setting for a wedding ceremony.
WEDDING BANQUET AT NGALA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
COURTYARD Any time preferred delicious cuisine is served in the candle- and lantern-lit courtyard. A truly romantic setting; Guests will find this a wedding reception that exudes elegance.
BOMA AT NGALA MAIN CAMP
Delicious cuisine is served at the fireside in the Boma, under African skies. The Boma can comfortably seat 42 Guests and there is a bar and space for dancing, should you wish to make use of a DJ. This option is only available for dinners.
WEDDING BUSH BANQUET Ngala, renowned for exciting bush banqueting in spectacular settings and theatrical alfresco dinners, provides a dinner reception with a difference, illuminated by masses of lanterns and blazing fires. Dining tables adorned with linen, often make one wonder how dining alfresco in such style is possible. Close to the sounds and smells of the African bushveld, this outdoor option offers a spectacular and unforgettable dining affair.

AN INTIMATE WEDDING
An intimate wedding consisting of 2 to 6 Guests would be comfortably accommodated in 1 to 3 Suites/Chalets at Ngala Main Camp or Ngala Tented Safari Camp. A party of 12 Guests could enjoy the sole-use and luxury of Ngala Tented Safari Camp.
A CLASSIC WEDDING A classic wedding party consisting of 8 to 42 Guests can be accommodated in 4 to 21 Suites/Chalets at Ngala Main Camp
Safari Chalets: This gracious, colonial-style safari lodge is renowned for its superb accommodation and exudes a romantic colonial ambience. The Lodge comprises 20 equally attractive thatched chalets, each boasting an en suite bathroom and an intimate veranda with a view. With its secluded position overlooking the Mopane riverbed, Ngala's sophisticated Safari Suite boasts a spacious sitting room, elegant en suite bedroom, private deck, personal pool and exclusive safari vehicle - perfect for the bridal couple.
Guest Areas: The main thatched dining, bar and sitting areas are open to the African bushveld, and the large swimming pool looks out over a busy waterhole where elephants are frequently sighted.
Deluxe Tented Suites: Set on the banks of the great seasonal Timbavati River, Ngala Tented Safari Camp was built with a light footprint to minimise impact on the environment. This exclusive camp offers six deluxe tented safari suites featuring baths, twin hand basins, separate w.c., outdoor showers, overhead fans and wooden decks.
Guest Areas: Guest areas feature retro pieces from the 50s, 60s and 70s and beautiful timber decks which overlook the seasonal riverbed. Rated in numerous prestigious listings such as the US Conde Nast Traveler's “Hot List”, it is a gracious camp with a contemporary feel and flamboyant styling. A lap pool merges with the contours of the riverbank for laid-back game viewing.
CC Africa will do everything possible to accommodate specific room requests for the bridal couple, however ample notice will need to be given to do so - at least 3 months. Understandably, any unforeseen events - such as storm damage or similar - might prevent the Lodge from following through with such requests.
